An Infringement Of Human Rights? We'll Play Anyway.

In spite of being labelled a silly blogger (I think that was the phrase used, although too much time spent in front of 4x12s may have rendered my hearing somewhat unreliable) on numerous occasions in my life, I have never yet felt the compulsion to commit my thoughts to any online repository. And yet here I begin to record a new tract on what might be considered a lesser known corner of the web, known as PerfectProg. My consideration is that here are a number of likeminded global citizens (at…See More

I'm the keyboard player from London-based Prog rock band Core Project.

We've just been signed to Atomic Clock Records, also based in the UK, and we are busy writing material for our second album, so it's an exciting time for us. It'd be cool to meet some like minded musicians and fans from around the world here on PP.net, so if you want to get in touch I'd be happy to talk!

As for me, I am a fan of many different forms of music, but am a fan of progressive songwriting structures, whatever the genre, and of good musicianship, again regardless of genre. My favourite bands and artists are Queen, Pantera, Jamiroquai, Dream Theater, Machine Head, David Bowie, Porcupine Tree, Prince, and many many others.

My previous bands include the popular beat-combo The Purple Onion, many of whose members now comprise The Everyday Freaks, and covers band Tom Likes Dogs. I have also played with progressive rock band Spiral Compass.

Core Project's first album, Singularities Part 1, is available to buy from Tunecore, itunes UK, Emusic, Napster and Amazon.co.uk. We also have limited edition CDs of Singularities Part 1 available to buy which are exclusively available from www.coreproject.co.uk.
