Initial Gravity's Page

Initial Gravity is a progressive-rock/metal band started in San Miguel de Tucumán, Argentina. In the year 2005, Isaac Llovera and Facundo Macció brewed the idea of ensembling an instrumental proyect with influences from bands such as “Liquid Tension” and “Planet-X”. Finally, at the beginning of 2006, the band was consolidated by the joining of two members, Bernardo Yacono and Mariano Azubel. They recorded a demo with two instrumental songs of their own which were highly accepted by the progressive rock audience, participating in several music events at that time.
Following a continuous evolution, searching for a channel of expression which could represent their emotions at their best, the band decided to take a further step with the incorporation of a singer, Álvaro Barcelona, after that, Isaac Llovera leaves the group for personal reasons.
John Paul Navarro joins with his keyboard and start working on their first record, composing, organizing, new ideas which will eventually carve on the identity of Initial Gravity, nowadays in a stage of production of their first album having strong diffusion with the track “Take me higher”
Today, the members of the band are: Mariano Azubel (bass); Alvaro Barcellona (vocals); Facundo Maccio (guitar); Johnn Paul Navarro (keyboard); Bernardo Yacono (drums).
